Mr. Callaway has nearly 30 years of experience in the media industry. Before joining TheStreet, Inc., he served as Editor-in-Chief at USA Today, since 2012. At USA Today, Mr. Callaway grew the digital news group to the fifth-largest in the United States. Prior to that, Mr. Callaway served as the Editor-in-Chief of MarketWatch, where he expanded the newsroom to 120 journalists across bureaus in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. He has also served as a securities industry reporter at Bloomberg and a reporter with the Boston Herald. Mr. Callaway holds a master's degree from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism.
Mr. Davis is President of Institutional Services for TheStreet, Inc. and leads the growth of The Deal and BoardEx. Mr. Davis brings more than 25 years of institutional markets experience to TheStreet, Inc., joining from Barclays Bank Plc in New York where he was a managing director and global head of client strategy for its institutional capital markets business. Prior to that, he was the global head of execution and advisory for the Barclays Wealth business, based in London. Before joining Barclays, Mr. Davis spent two decades building and growing technology enabling information businesses and held a number of senior leadership roles including president and operating officer of Dow Jones Licensing, as well as general manager and executive vice-president of MarketWatch Inc. He is a graduate of Miami University and holds a MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.
Mr. Freiman is Senior Vice President, Media Revenue, Business & Audience Development of TheStreet Inc. In his current role James is responsible for all distribution, traffic and content partnerships, media and licensing revenue. Prior to joining the company in 2009, Mr. Freiman was most recently Senior Vice President of Marketing and Advertising Sales at Grandparents.com. From 2002-2007, he served as Vice President of Worldwide Advertising Sales and Business Development at Lavalife Inc., a leading subscription-based social media and online dating service. Mr. Freiman spent the previous 14 years in business development and management roles at leading Media and Online Properties including AOL, United Online (Juno Division), Bertelsmann, PolyGram Records (Universal Music) and Young & Rubicam. Mr. Freiman received his BBA in Finance with concentration in International Marketing from The University of Texas in Austin. Mr Freiman is on the Board of Directors of Digital Content Next and is an active member of several IAB committees and advisory boards
Mr. Ireland oversees all technology and development operations for TheStreet, Inc. Prior to his corporate role, he served as CTO for both The Deal and BoardEx. Before joining the company, Mr. Ireland was a management consultant specializing in e-Commerce and Technology; Head of Product Development and IT at E-Vote, a business unit of Thomson Financial; Senior Project Manager in European Financial Services for Reuters. Mr. Ireland also spent more than 11 years within in the Private Banking sector, working as a Credit Analyst and Account Executive.
Mr. Kramer has over 40 years of experience in media and publishing. He currently serves on the board of directors of Gannett Co., Inc. and previously served Gannett Co., Inc. as President and Publisher of USA TODAY from May 2012 to June 2015. Prior to joining Gannett, he was a media consultant and adjunct professor of Media Management at the Newhouse School of Communications at Syracuse University. From January 2008 to January 2010, Mr. Kramer was a Senior Advisor of Polaris Venture Partners. From March 2005 until March 2008, he served in a number of positions at CBS, including President of CBS Digital Media. Prior to joining CBS, he was Chairman, CEO and Founder of MarketWatch, Inc. until its sale to Dow Jones in January 2005. He was Founder, Executive Editor, and President of Data Sport Inc. from 1991-1994 and joined Data Broadcasting Corp. as Vice President in 1994 following its acquisition of Data Sport. Prior to founding Data Sport, he spent more than 20 years in journalism as a reporter and editor, including as Assistant Managing Editor and Metro Editor of the Washington Post and Editor of the San Francisco Examiner. While a journalist, he won several awards for reporting, including the National Press Club Award, and while an editor, his staffs won two Pulitzer Prizes. Mr. Kramer serves on the board of directors of Harvard Business Publishing and the board of trustees of Syracuse University. He was a founding board member and former Chairman of The Online Publishers Association and previously served on the public company boards of Discovery Communications, Inc. (2008-2012), Answers Corp. (2005-2011) and MarketWatch Inc. (1999-2005).
Ms. Mars is General Counsel for TheStreet, Inc., where she oversees the legal functions and provides guidance and counseling to all areas of the company. Prior to joining TheStreet, Ms. Mars was senior in-house counsel for CBS Interactive, focusing primarily on data and content licensing matters and a wide range of technology and other commercial transactions. Prior to CBS Interactive, Ms. Mars was senior in-house counsel for Sony Music Entertainment, where she assisted with the launch of various new digital products and services, and associated intellectual property issues. Ms. Mars has over 15 years of experience in the digital media industry. She received her B.S. from University of South Carolina and J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
As Chief Marketing Officer, Ms. Smith manages marketing and communications initiatives across TheStreet's portfolio of business and personal finance brands. Ms. Smith brings more than 20 years of experience in the media industry to her role, most recently as Group Associate Publisher of Marketing at the Meredith Corporation, where she oversaw four lifestyle brands. Ms. Smith’s work and leadership were recognized when she was named one of Folio’s Top Women in Media in 2015 and her group was named “Marketing Team of the Year” by minin 2014. She has also held senior marketing positions at Condé Nast, The New York Times and Newsweek. Ms. Smith holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in history and French from Creighton University.
Ms. Zorn has served as President of RateWatch since June 2011. RateWatch maintains the nation’s largest historical and real-time database of deposit, loan, and fee information from more than 100,000 financial institutions. Ms. Zorn joined RateWatch in 2001 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing responsible for sales, retention, marketing, and customer service. In 2004 Ms. Zorn assumed responsibility for company-wide operations and, tasked with assessing the business for maximum performance, she increased profit margins by 40%. RateWatch was subsequently sold to TheStreet in 2007 with Ms. Zorn as RateWatch’s Chief Operations Officer. From 2009 – 2014 Ms. Zorn also served as the Vice President of Inside Sales & Customer Service for TheStreet’s consumer-facing, premium services division. Prior to joining RateWatch, Ms. Zorn held various positions in call center, payroll, and health service industries. Ms. Zorn earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications from the University of Wisconsin and resides in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.
